CREATOR

The Expression Archetype

Write or draw or build or sing or live as only you can. And I hope, somewhere in the next year, you surprise yourself."

Who is the creator

All you want is to create, create, create.Your core motivator for all of the work you do is simply the creation process of the thing.

Coaching? It helps you create better content.

Teaching? It’s a creative process to develop the curriculum.

Business? It activates all creative cylinders.

It’s likely that you’re most drawn to the times when you can sit down with yourself, receive downloads of ideas that are so exciting for you, and just let them flow out of you from the source itself.

Creating social media content, YouTube Videos, Podcasts, Courses, Landing Pages, or anything else that you can just immerse yourself into just makes you feel like you.

Your philosophy is this: a highly engaged and the entertained audience will drive revenue and support my creative expression, so focus on that primarily. My business is a byproduct of my creations. When I express ME, people will come.

Your greatest fear: being too much in the logistics, numbers, and marketing–rendering you almost unable to create at the level that feels good for you. It’s the artist’s greatest fear: becoming a sell-out.

As a creator, your method to greatness is getting extremely good at your creations.

You’d THRIVE having an extremely well-branded and put together YouTube show, Podcast, or Instagram account.

People would know you for how interesting and unique your content is. You’d get extremely good at what you’re making, and it will be the exact thing that helps your social media platform go “boom.”

Activating the Creator within you is a major advantage in the social-media sphere (which is highly entertainment-driven) because there aren’t as many people willing to spend as much time on content like you are.

Focus on your creations, and your business will follow. People will simply reach out to you after having gotten hooked on your content and consciously bonded with you as their “go-to person for X.” It’s funny, because we both know that there are plenty of people providing the same exact information as you–but you’ve done it in the most unique and different way possible, which is why you’re their person.

Content creation is a full-time job (duh, you know that) so consider what parts of it you can outsource as you begin building and running your creative business.

Creators do tend to be perfectionists, and get pulled into spending 16 hours fucking around with fonts (guilty.) The work is to get it to 80% and go and stop sabotaging your own consistency.

Attachment to their creations can get extremely high, and may have a hard time receiving or implementing feedback.

For example: if a creator is writing a book and a publisher wants them to change the structure, it can create both internal and external strife.

The work is to detach from the outcome of what your creations might do for you, along with allowing others to offer feedback on how they could be enhanced.

Don’t worry, you can still keep your your Art while being able to play well with others.

Work For A Creator

Creators are typically highly attached to their creations, and feels like dying if they don’t have the space to create.

The work includes setting BOUNDARIES around your creation time and treating it like it’s sacred.

Along with that, you may find yourself in the judgement of others if they’re “copying,” taking your ideas or nuances. The truth is, the creator is always the attractive innovator and others will look to YOU for inspiration.

Self-Expression

Claim your creative self-expression in the most you way possible. Go all in on your creative energy, imaginative ideas, and constant thirst for new.

Structure Is Freedom

Being tied down to timelines and deadlines may not feel like the move, but having loose structure can ignite the fire energy within to create even more.

Financial Abundance

Abundance is magnetized to you when you’re in your fullest creative expression. Receive money with open arms.
